ScoreGeek

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 30, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or otherwise using ScoreGeek (the "Service"), operated by Rebrand Software, LLC, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

ScoreGeek is a board game score tracker. It lets you score games on score sheets, keep your history and statistics, earn awards and Meeps, appear on leaderboards, play at live tables where everyone scores on their own phone, and ask rules questions answered with AI assistance. We may change, add to, or remove features at any time.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 to make an account. A parent may keep scores for a family, children included, on their own account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for any activity under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect someone else has used it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used abusively.

4. Scores, ratings and rules answers

ScoreGeek adds up scores, works out winners and ratings, and answers rules questions, but the game's rulebook and your table have the last word. Score sheets (official ones too) and AI-generated rules answers can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything that matters against the rules. We are not responsible for the outcome of a game, a wager, or a disagreement at the table.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Premium is available monthly or yearly and is billed through the platform where you subscribe: Stripe on the web, the App Store on iOS, or Google Play on Android. A new account may try Premium free for a limited time; when a trial ends without a subscription, the account returns to the free tier, and nothing you recorded is deleted. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time through the platform you subscribed on: Settings, Account on the web, or your App Store or Google Play subscription settings on a phone. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period and is not pro-rated. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their policies; for web purchases they are handled case by case. Email us if you have a billing concern.

6. Your content

The games, scores, notes, photos and score sheets you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them to provide the Service, and to show them to the people you choose: the players at your table, and everyone using ScoreGeek for your public profile and the leaderboards while you have them switched on.

Score sheets. A score sheet you make may be reviewed and published as a public or official sheet for everyone to use. By making one you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to copy, edit, publish and keep publishing it in the Service, credited to your account. A published sheet stays published if you delete your account, without your name on it.

Everyone's numbers. Your games count toward the anonymous totals shown on each game's page, as the Privacy Policy describes. No name, account or single game can be read from them.

AI assistants. We don't share your data with anyone except as the Privacy Policy describes, as required by law, or with an AI assistant you have connected yourself. Connecting one sends the data it reads to that assistant's operator; the Privacy Policy sets out what is and is not exposed.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

You can report a profile and block a person from the leaderboards. We may remove names or content, take someone off the leaderboards, or close an account that breaks these rules.

8. BoardGameGeek

Game names, pictures and rules discussions come from BoardGameGeek. ScoreGeek is not affiliated with or endorsed by BoardGameGeek. If you import your collection or plays from BoardGameGeek, or publish your plays to it, you do so from your own BoardGameGeek account, and BoardGameGeek's own terms apply there.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on MongoDB Atlas, Firebase, Cloudflare, cloud file storage, Stripe, Apple, Google, Anthropic and BoardGameGeek, and, if you connect one, the operator of your AI assistant (Anthropic, OpenAI, or another provider of your choosing). Their terms and privacy policies apply to the parts of the Service they power.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that score sheets, statistics, ratings or rules answers are complete or correct.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoreGeek and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the Service. Total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, changing the effective date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms: use our contact form, or for formal legal correspondence email support@rebrandsoftware.com.
